Monaco's Audit Commission report was published last week.
After first being presented to Prince Albert II by James Charrier, its President, the Audit Commission's 2009 annual report was published in the Journal of Monaco. Its role was extended and strengthened in 2008, and this year's report reflects the new responsibilities. The annual requirement to publish a report brings the Commission's status in line with standards set by international organizations such as the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions INTOSAI.
The Commission's findings in relation to the State, the Commune, and several public bodies are presented.
