Manager of Stars n Bars says there's global interest in the restaurant franchise.

The first Stars n Bars franchise opened in Abu Dhabi in November 2010, another is on its way in Dubai, and restaurant manager Kate Powers says they've also received interest from Brazil, Montenegro, Singapore, Germany and the USA.

Powers and her partner Didier Rubiolo have been running the American sports bar style restaurant for 18 years. Her family originally opened Le Texan (now La Villa), introducing the concept of tex-mex food, American culture and family style dining to the Principality.
