More members, more information

This week the CDE announced its new projects for 2011, including a communications campaign similar to that of the Government.

At the Rendez-Vous des Adherents, Michel Dotta spoke of the CDE's role as operational arm of the Government in supporting enterprises and finding investors. He said the first objective for 2011 is to increase membership by launching a campaign inspired by that of the Government. It promises to entreprendre ensemble (work together), promoting the CDE's competencies in projects, investment, promotion, export and developing networks.

CDE will also update its database to better use its knowledge and build relationships with economic players. It will also open up the Club Adherents, the members' space on its website. The space will be used for members to get to know each other, consult current news about the CDE, and provide access to information sheets, networks and opportunities. There will also be a blog.

The 2011 calendar was also partially revealed at the meeting, with an economic mission to Beirut planned for 11th to 14th January.
