Anne Eastwood takes new role in Government.
Anne Eastwood has been appointed Director General of the Department of Health and Social Affairs. She'll be joining Stephane Valeri, with whom she worked for 3 years in the National Council.
Ms Eastwood was educated in Monaco at the Lycee Albert 1er, after which she studied at the prestigious Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales in Paris. After graduating with a degree in business law, she continued to study at the Ecole de Formation du Barreau. She was a lawyer at the Court of Appeal in Paris, practicing business law with the French firm Simeon & Associes, followed by the English firm Lovells.
In 2003 Ms Eastwood returned to the Principality to join the General Directorate of the National Council as Special Advisor for Legal Affairs, before being nominated Director General of the National Council in 2007, then as Head of the President's Cabinet, when the post was created in March 2007.
