From February the Shell petrol station at the Cap d'Ail border operates under the BP brand.

Shell recently sold all its French and Monegasque service stations. The gasoline retail industry in Monaco is publicly owned, and so the Government issued a call to tender in September 2009 and subsequently awarded the concession to the BP group. Frederic Terrin's Nicoise company had been operating the station for 4 years but the new manager of the BP garage will be Dominique Lanteri. Everything else remains unchanged; workers, services, and opening hours.
