Stars n Bars United Arab Emirates franchises ready to open.

After months of waiting, Stars n Bars' two new branches in Abu Dhabi and Dubai will be opening in the next few weeks. Since 1993, founders and owners Kate Powers and Didier Rubiolo have welcomed locals and international celebrities to the American style sports restaurant in Port Hercule. For the past 4 years they've been working on a project to franchise the brand in the UAE.

The first branch to open will be in Abu Dhabi, located on Yas Island, near Ferrari World and next to the F1 track. With 250 covers in a space of 1100 sq m, the restaurant will welcome its first clients on 12th November, coinciding with the 2nd Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

A Christmas opening is planned for the Dubai franchise, which is in the Marina, with a floor space of 1300 sq m. It will soon be joined by another Monaco eatery, Beef Bar.

The two new Stars n Bars share the original concept of bar, restaurant, kids' play area, and sports theme. Construction, installation and staff training have been carried out under the management of the Monaco enterprise, and the a la carte menu has also been exported, with one or two changes taking into account local culture.

The project will be reviewed after 12 months, with the potential for extending the franchise even further east.
