Monaco's parliament has set up a think tank to consider the future of Monaco in a changing world.

Prince Albert's investiture speech related his desire for Monaco to be a model society as well as a model for society. To further this ideal, a working group, known as Monaco 2029 was established earlier this year. Consisting of 15 members, the group's main objective is to propose ideas and projects to help maintain and promote the prosperity of Monaco, as well as to support sustainable development. The think tank will present its suggestions at the end of 2009, after consultation with representatives from a wide spectrum of Monegasque society.
