Initially, the dates for the F1 races were penciled in on 20th to 23rd May 2010. The changes mean that the event will now take place a week earlier, from 13th to 16th May. In addition, the 7th Historic Grand Prix that takes place every other year, will be organized for the 1st and 2nd May.

With the final F1 race of the season yet to be run in Abu Dhabi on 1st November, this year's world champion was already celebrating at the weekend. Monaco resident Jenson Button cracked open the champagne along with his team Brawn, which won the constructor's championship. Congratulations!
