Last Thursday, retiring Minister of State Jean-Paul Proust joined the ranks of Grand Officers of the Order of Saint Charles.
Proust received the honour from Prince Albert II, who thanked him for his dedication and loyalty over the past 5 years.
The Order of Saint Charles was created in 1858 by Prince Charles III of Monaco. It's awarded as thanks for service to the State and the Prince.
