Monte Carlo SBM to manage a club on Saadiyat Island.
Developed by Abu Dhabi's Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC), the Monte Carlo Beach Club Saadiyat Island is scheduled to open in March 2011 and will be the first one managed by Monte Carlo SBM. The club joins other international upmarket brands situated the natural island, such as St Regis, Mandarin Oriental and Park Hyatt. It will cover 36,500 sq m and will provide a private beach, kids' area, swimming pools, health and fitness centre, and an all day restaurant.
CEO of SBM Bernard Lambert compared the TDIC's passion for developing Abu Dhabi's social, cultural and tourist infrastructure to SBM's own development of Monte Carlo in the 19th century.
