G 20: contrôles renforcés et perturbations en vue [1]
A demonstration is planned at 10am on 3rd November in Cap d'Ail
in relation to the G20 summit in Cannes next week. Between 800 and 1000 protestors are expected to march along the Basse Corniche, making it difficult to access Monaco. The police are on maximum alert and are to increase patrols and border checks on all routes into the Principality, including at the railway station. Traffic delays next Thursday are inevitable.
Drivers are advised to use the Moyenne Corniche or autoroute, as the Basse Corniche will be closed in Cap d'Ail. There are likely to be delays on the number 100 bus route, which will also be diverted, and commuters are being advised to use the train.
