Monaco Telecom to broadcast Chinese news services in the Principality.

Martin Peronnet of Monaco Telecom joined the delegation in China earlier this week to celebrate Monaco day at the World Expo. He took the opportunity to sign a contract this morning with the President of China International Television Corporation (CITVC) Li Jian, licensing Monaco Telecom to broadcast 4 Chinese TV channels:

• CCTV-4 in Chinese
• CCTV News in English
• CCTV French
• CCTV Spanish

The channels enhance the new digital service launched in the Principality in June. Folowing the introduction of digital TV Monaco Telecom saw daily sales figures equivalent to its monthly figures before the launch of the new service.
