After a break of 2 years, the Next Generation Entrepreneurs Forum (NGEF) is going ahead in 3 weeks time.
The conference is being held on 12 and 13 March in the Camille Blanc room of the Grimaldi Forum [1] and takes the same format as previous years, with keynote speakers, networking lunches, discussion forums and a business plan competition.
Originally the NGEF developed from the interests of a group of students at the International University of Monaco [2] (IUM) who wanted to learn from the experience of entrepreneurs, investors and the local business community. Following on from a number of after-class presentations and discussions organised by the student entrrepreneurs, the first NGEF conference was held in 2003.
This year, the sessions are being opened on Thursday by Stelios [3] Haji-Ioannou, founder of EasyJet, and on Friday by Richard Farleigh [4], best known for his appearances on the BBC's Dragon's Den [5] programme. Ex-IUM student entrepreneurs appearing over the two days include Alexander Frisenberg of Zelective Group and Johannes Pinl of MARSS, who is also a founding member of the NGEF. Other panelists include Daniele de Winter [6], Barend van der Vorm [7], Mark Dixon of Regus [8] and Walter de Brouwer [9].
Contact the NGEF team [10] for tickets.
