Ferrari have been handed a 15,000 euro fine by the Hungarian Grand Prix stewards after Fernando Alonso was found to have misused the Drag Reduction System (DRS) during Sunday's race in Budapest. The FIA's technical delegate Jo Bauer referred the matter to the stewards because data indicated that Alonso had activated the DRS on three occasions when he was not within one second of the car in front at the DRS detection point

Romain Grosjean has been handed a 20-second post-race time penalty by the Hungarian Grand Prix stewards for his clash with Jenson Button during Sunday's race. The Lotus driver collided with Button's McLaren as he overtook him into the chicane on the 25th lap. The stewards subsequently declared that they would investigate the incident after the race and, having heard from both parties, decided to give the Frenchman a time penalty
