A survey by Wealth Bulletin claims Monaco's Avenue Princesse Grace is the most expensive street in the world.

There are many news reports today proclaiming Monaco to be first sporting wonder of the world.

Prospective home buyers in Monaco can expect to pay 51,000 euros per square meter, according to a survey released last week by Knight Frank. That translates to about 2 million euros for a small studio flat, and beats London property prices into second place, at 44,620 euros per square meter.

A British company has listed Monaco as the 4th most prosperous and stable country. According to a report in the Times newspaper, Jane's Information Group carried out research into 235 countries and dependent territories. A number of criteria were used to rank the countries, including political structure, social and economic trends, military and security risks and external relations. Monaco scored 98 out of a possible 100 points.
